Wild Horse Pass Gas Station
Construction has begun on the new Wild Horse Pass Gas Station, hereinafter "Gas Station". With its strategic location (Southeast corner of Wild Horse Pass Boulevard and Maricopa Road), the Gas Station will be able to take advantage of the incoming traffic from the town of Maricopa.
In addition, the Gas Station will capitalize on being located next to the Wild Horse Pass exit ramp on Interstate 10, the last gas station leaving Phoenix to Tucson (I-10 East) and is the first station coming in from Tucson (I-10 West).
With 16 fueling stations, patrons will appreciate the convenience of filling up quickly. Customers will also enjoy the vast selection of food and beverage inside the estimated 4,400 square foot convenience store/gas station, which includes an expansive cigarette section, a beer cave, a soda cave, hot made-to-order pizza from Picadilly Pizza, a large selection of fast-food, an expanded coffee bar, over 15 walk-in coolers/freezers plus much more.
The Gas Station is expected to be open for business near the end of November '09.
Shelde Building Expansion
Due to a higher demand of larger event space, the Shelde Building is being expanded. When complete, the Shelde Building will more than double its current banquet space of 3,780 square feet to 7,655 square feet and will be able to host a wide array of events. With a floor-to-ceiling glass wall and an expansive patio, guests will be able to enjoy amazing views of South Mountain and the Devil's Claw Golf Course from either inside or out. As part of the expansion, the back patio will be reconfigured and extended by an additional 400 square feet to 2,980 square feet.
The schematic design phase has begun with construction scheduled to begin in August. The Shelde Building is anticipated to be open by the end of December '09. The Shelde Building will be able to host any event or occasion, from charity events to wedding receptions.
Premium Retail Outlet Mall
The highly anticipated Phoenix Premium Outlets at Wild Horse Pass is coming soon. When complete, visitors will enjoy the estimated 550,000 square feet of premium retail space in a unique outdoor setting. Shoppers will find designer labels and upscale fashion at a savings of 25 to 65 percent of retail price. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of '10 with the completion of the estimated 350,000 square foot Phase 1 in the first quarter of '11. The Phoenix Premium Outlets at Wild Horse Pass will be located on the northwest corner of I-10 and Wild Horse Pass Boulevard (just north of the new Wild Horse Pass Casino & Hotel).
